The new version is
available on our server. This is a major new release, it addresses the registry cleaner issues (thanks Microsoft for having APIs not working as they should be!) and adds a powerful benchmark data persistance/comparison module. I have included some sample benchmarks, please send yours at
benchmark@antontomov.com! We are preparing an online benchmarking database browser which should be available in about a week or two. We are also working on a benchmarking browser module that will show you detailed information and comparisons between the saved benchmark data - expect that in v2.10. Below is the change log:
- Fixed: General registry class access error. Affected the registry clean up module and all registry operations.
- Fixed: Bug in persisting the storage benhcmark data.
- Fixed: Stack overflow in all benchmarking modules.
- Fixed: Memory leak in all messages (custom icons were not destroyed in OnDestroy()).
- Changed: Speed and size optimizations.
- Added: More exception rules in the empty registry key enumerator.
- Added: Updated supported flash card types (added MicroSD, MicroMMC, USB flash, xD, RAM storage) and flash card manufacturers (e-Film, Olympus, Silicon Power and more).
- Added: Product build vs. OS version check on startup.
- Added: Settings to skip benchmark charts and comparison module.
- Added: Local and Global benchmark persistance functionality. Ready for the benchmark browser module.
- Added: Comparisons between saved benchmarks.
- Added: Enhanced storage ID/manufacturer ID storage card decoding.
- Added: Storage benchmark sample data for Dell Axim x51v and iPAQ hx4700 devices (CF, SD and MD).
