Normally the databases are internally used by Pocket PC applications such as Pocket Outlook, Contacts, Calendar, etc. and are not visible to the user. With the Windows CE database manager of Pocket Mechanic Professional it is now possible to browse and manage the available databases on your device and view the contents of each record.

The module is compatible with all Window Mobile Pocket PC devices and supports both EDB and CEDB databases.

"This is one of those programs that serious users of a Dell Axim should not be without. The first time I tried using the program, I cleaned out well over 1000 duplicate notifications, registry settings related to programs I no longer have installed, and duplicate files on my machine. There are a couple of features that won't work on an X5, such as trying to defragment the Built-In storage, but that is because of the way Dell sets up the storage; it has nothing to do with this program; defragging plug in cards works fine. I have also used this program to relocate programs with great success. I would give this program 6 stars if I could!"

"Developer regularly upgrades software and I have used it for several months on Dell X50. Performs complex cleaning actions (e.g., unneeded registry entries) reliably, provides card benchmarking, and adds various levels of card formatting (Win2003 does not format SD or CF cards). On-screen explanations for actions are clear; developer is immediately responsive to support questions. I would now NOT be without this software on my PocketPC."
