We have always been a company that listens to its customers. We are very interested in hearing your feedback for any feature requests you would like implemented in Pocket Mechanic Professional. We cannot guarantee we will be able to implement all of them but we do promise to take all posts into account and do whatever we can to make Pocket Mechanic Professional even better.

Thank you for helping us improve our products!

I would love to see a feature that would allow me to load my Pocket PC as a USB Mass Storage Device under any PC I connect it to.

I know that there is a tool that can do this, but said tool does not work on my Pocket PC and forces me to reboot whenever I try it.

I think that this feature would be loved by many people ...

Could you please implement any of these requests in a future release:

1. Manage Internet Explorer Cookies
2. Fix Bad Shortcuts
3. View Today Plugins and Input Methods
4. View Startup Items (HKLM\Init and \Windows\Startup)
5. View Services (Start/Stop/Disable etc)
6. Show Detailed System Report
7. Icon With Transpareny
This annoys me with all your products that all have a stupid white background)

Dear raing3,
Welcome to the forums!

Windows CE does not yet support icons with alpha channel. This is the reason for the “stupid” white background. The only workaround is to use icons without alpha or icons with pre-rendered backgrounds.

Hi Anton,
i would like to have a module where i may choose folders/files
to delete : like well know ccleaner for windows(desktop)
it would allow me to clear(once the settings done) all opera/netfront caches
wlm junk etc with one “tap”.
thanks
Bruce

Hi Bruce,
You can do that with the current cleaner but I guess you are asking for implementation of “profiles” or something similar. Currently you have to check/uncheck the rules you need/don’t need. Profiles may do that automatically.

Anton,

I would love to be able to un-delete/restore files on my memory card. I do not back up my 2g memory card, but probably should backup certain folders in it, as I deleted a few pictures I wanted by accident today… I have searched everywhere, and can’t find anything for PPC that will un-delete files, and I don’t want to do it through the PC and a card reader! Help!

Shawn

Hey Shawn,
I am working on this feature right now. It should be available in about 10 days in Pocket Mechanic and as a standalone product. This feature will only work correctly if the file system is not fragmented however (but this is the case with all similar desktop utilities as well).
