Greetings,
We are almost done with our new data recovery module that will possibly become a part of Pocket Mechanic shortly. The first part of it is able to recover deleted files from a FAT volume. Anybody who is interested in beta testing please reply in this thread. Of course all beta testers will receive a complimentary full commercial product license.

Part two will be a tool able to recover files from a formatted volume. smile

Cheers,
Anton

P.S. Please post your device model and storage cards used. Thanks!

I have not been contacted about this yet. Has anybody? excaim

Nada….. Not a thing…..

Sorry for the delay - the module in question is not entirely completed yet. We have finished the code that is able to scan a storage card and list all deleted files. The undelete code is currently being tested and I hope we will be able to give you a beta version in a couple of days! smile

Hi Anton,

Count me in.  My device is an o2 XDA Trion (HTC Tytn) running WM5 and SanDisk 2.0Gb MicroSD.

Hopefully this BETA will come out unlike the one announced last year that we are still waiting for…

Still have heard nothing on beta testing…..

The betas have been delayed because we added support for several new screen resolutions in all of them (800x480, 400x240, 320x320 etc). ScanDisk is 100% complete, Undelete and Unformat are due to be alpha-ready by the end of the week. Therefore we will start all 4 beta testings at once in about 5 to 7 days. I hope it was worth the waiting especially with Unformat that will do magic to recover files from a completely formatted storage card smile

Cheers,
Anton
