Hello,

I tried Pocket Hack Master on my new ETEN Glofiish X800 which is a great PPC with everything I need, but unfortunetely is very very slow, due to VGA screen and due to the underclocking of the cpu by ETEN.

PHM doesn’t report the frequencies correctly and it doesn’t provide correct speed configurations. The highest is at 450Mhz 75Mhz HCLK 38Mhz PCLK. Which the TEST passes with no problems and it works, making the PDA very fast!

But it loses synchronization with all the communication ports, GPS, Phone, GSM and WiFi don’t work anymore. I guess it loses the synchronization (clock) with those modules.

I am willing to help out (beta test, or programming) to make a new version that support this CPU, because frankly X800 is slow without CPU tweaking, but if it is tweaked then it’s absolutely great, and I don’t won’t to miss this.

I have an IPAQ rx5910 that uses the S3C2442B clocked at 400MHz.  I tried using PHM with it and was able to run it at 450MHz.  The video decode performance seems to scale to the expected level which is great.  Problem is , similar to the previous poster, the USB port no longer works even when I have PHM set the clock speed back to 400MHz.  However, the WiFi continues to function properly.  I didn’t try SD card.  Another issue is the backlight seems to flicker once every 2 to 3 sec when I have scaling enabled.

I like this program and hope you work out the issues with S3C2442B.
