Hi Anton,

I’m running the latest 2.61 on my x51v. When I try to remove programs using the uninstall module, I get a pop-up about the unload file is missing or not signed… I then click OK and get a messge saying the program was successfully removed. But it wasn’t.

Hi Mark,
We didn’t sign v2.61 with a VeriSign certificate which is the reason for that error. Our team has almost finished work on a new v2.70 release (major code cleanup, new File System Cleanup module code integrated with Wizcode Upkeeper). The new version is to be released somewhere next week and we will also sign it to address the issue you mentioned.

I have the same pop-up about unload.exe while trying to uninstall anything with PM.  I run HTC Touch Cruise, Pocket Mechanic Pro v.2.92.249 (WM6, ARM). Did I deleted something I shouldn’t with PM, or it’s your bug?
Thank you in advance.

It’s the same bug that’s been there all along. Although I haven’t tried the uninstall module yet in 2.92, but it sounds like it’s still there. I don’t think it affects anything but it is annoying.

Hi mkss55442,
I don’t think we signed the last build, this will be corrected in our next release that will by the way add integration with Virtual Explorer’s recycle bin.

Cheers,
Anton

Same problem with 2.93 on iPAQ 214 (WMC 6.0).
Except I unchecked “try unload.exe...” option and don’t receive message about the unload file is missing or not signed, but message about successful uninstallation, and program disappear from PMP uninstall list.
Despite it program remains in system uninstall applet, and in install location.

Hi Anton,

I also have not had a succesful uninstall with the current version. I get the same error about the missing unload file, and then it says the program was uninstalled, but it wasn’t…
