Are there any plans to support the PXA310 as used in the new HP 210?

Cheers.

I too would like support for the Marvell CPU found in my new HP ipaq 214.

Is this in development?

I’m up for that - could do with a app that allows CPU speed control on the Ipaq 214…

Sorry for not replying earlier. Please send me a log file from that device. I will see if we can add support for it quickly without having the actual device in hands. Thanks!

Received, thanks!

I have contacted Marvell, let’s hope they will respond and will provide the developer manual that we need to start integrating support for this CPU in Pocket Hack Master.

I will keep this thread updated on the progress.

Appreciate it, Anton.  Thanks

I don’t know if you’re aware that there’s been a number of complaints regarding the Ipaq 210 when the CPU is under heavy load.  For example, the 3rd party hand-writing software Calligrapher sometimes goes completely nuts for a second or two during use.  A number of users believe its to do with the PXA3xx CPU’s energy saving feature; which we on the 210 have no control over (Theres no CPU control panel applet)

Could be, I will be able to be more specific when I get the technical documents. Still waiting to sign an NDA with Marvell so I cannot give a time frame for now…

Hi Anton,
Any luck with this yet. I hope so as I just got a Samsung Omnia that has the Marvell PXA312 that I hope the fix for the PXA310 will work on as well.
Thanks… Ron…

Hi Anton,
Still wondering if you have had any luck with this yet. I can’t believe the Samsung Omnia that has the Marvell PXA312 at 624 can be so slow sometimes. So I hope the fix for the PXA310 will work on the PXA312 also, and I can boost this thing.
Thanks… Ron…

Hi Anton,
Another interested party.
We used to work together on testing Toshiba e800/e830, but never finished.
Do you want to continue with iPaq 211?
