Hi, I can’t seem to get PHM to speed test my A696 even at the default 416 speed with or without disabling the pda’s own cpu scaler.  The pda would just go blank and blinking after 416 is checked and “test” pressed.  Only reset can bring the pda back to normal.  But it was able to use PHM’s cpu viewer and other features seem to work fine too.  I have also read the speed test article too.  PHM supports Bulverder pxa270 is that the same as Xscale pxa270?  Please help.  Thanks

Hi James,
Bulverde is Intel’s official name for the PXA270 processor. Does your device have an option to disable scaling (or keep the CPU at maximum speed), this should be under Advanced/Power? Does it make any difference if the device is running on A/C or battery power?

Hi, my Asus A696 has a PXA270 processor.  So PHM should work fine as it is one of the cpus officially claimed compatible.  It runs on wm5 without any modification on software and hardware.  It has no cpu scaling that I can find or aware of.  Both running on A/C or battery power doesn’t make any difference.  I followed the online guide but just puzzled by the problem.  I really would like to make my pda faster.  I hope you can help me.  Thanks
