Hello,

Just bought PHM 3 hours ago. Same thing here.
Waiting for an update.

Thanks

The S3C2442B chip is supported in Pocket Hack Master v4.30 that is available on our web site.

Hi, because it can see the proccessor speed and model it it doesn’t meen it suports it.
This program is meant to overclock a cpu not just read it or freeze the whole device ( hope).
I hope that you don’t mean we paid something that won’t work and i suggest to remove the banner tha advertises phm 4.30 as s3c442B compatible.

Sorry but there is a certain limit on what software can do with hardware. Pocket Hack Master is a generic overclocker, it works on virtually all devices that have supported CPUs. Some devices overclock better than others and some cannot be overclocked at all because of various OEM implementations. I will be happy to refund the money you have paid for the application if you are not happy with it.

Well, Anton, thank you for your fair offer to refund. I’ll take it.
How do you want to proceed?

hi guys.
let’s try to solve things here. I’m sure Anton is fully aware that this useful piece of software MUST work with the processors he’s showing and claiming in all advertisements.

I’m using an X800. same behaviour of other guys here. even with the latest version.

have you some hints to try to have PHM working with our X800?

The S3C2442B is generically supported by Pocket Hack Master. The application can detect, read or set the CPU speed properly. I cannot confirm whether the application is working on a X800 because our developers don’t have that device physically on site so I cannot yet comment why you are having issues with the X800. Could be an OEM restriction or another problem. FYI the S3C2442B chip is binary compatible with the S3C2442 chip which is supported by Pocket Hack Master since quite a long time.

thank you 4 your quick answer Anton.

For sure I prefer to have PHM working instead of asking for any refunds. To do this we’d need your help. A sort of an advanced guide for all parameters that the software allows to set/change.

Since we PHYSICALLY have the device in our hands, we can easily do some attempts with your giudance. this will be of mutual help, I’m sure you agree.

First of all, lets say that the correct operating frequency of the S3C2442B in the X800 is 500MHz. As soos as I start the PHM software the max spees shown is 450MHz. Why?

second question: in order to add our ‘custom’ frequencies we’ve to put some values of variables which should be better explained, such as
MDIV
PDIV
SDIV
HDIVN
PDIVN
bus synchronous

and so on (you know that better than us).
please explain.

Hello,
I need some time to prepare the answer to this question hope to do that this weekend. Also we have a new beta with some improvements that should affect the stability of S3C devices. I will post links to the beta this weekend as well.

Thank you, much appreciated! There are a few changes in the code that are currently in progress and then we will release a test build. The changes mainly affect the way the CPU low-level control is handled and also the code that controls the voltage regulator of the S3C chips.

It’s been about a month since the last post on this issue, are there any updates worth mentioning? I’m really looking forward to overclocking my X800 properly.

It’s been yet another month after the last post on this subject.  Is there an update to confirm that it works on the X800?
