Editing Registry in Virtual Explorer

I have a Pharos GPS 535e PDA running Windows Mobile 5. It is also running a Forest Service application that by default saves data to a 2 GB SD-CARD as Storage Card which it doesn’t recognize since the SD-CARD is “named” SD-MMCard. The PDA is also running Virtual Explorer. I found a thread somewhere which suggested that to solve this problem the registry needed editing such that the key folder value for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemStorageManagerProfilesSDMemory should be changed to Storage Card. Some additional changes to registry key folder values were suggested as well.

My question is this: I can navigate without any problem in Virtual Explorer to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemStorageManagerProfilesSDMemory. However, I can’t figure out what to do next (i.e. how to edit the key folder value) in Virtual Explorer. Please advise if editing the key folder value is possible and if so, how so.

Thanks.

Update to original post: problem solved, although not with Virtual Explorer. Registry key needed to be tweaked which was done with PHM Regedit.

June 4th, 2008 - Wizcode LLC (http://www.wizcode.com) announces another major update of Virtual Explorer. Now it obeys the user settings (permanently deletes or moves deleted items to the recycle bin)

Added: A switch on the main toolbar that toggles multi-select mode

  Status bar:

Added: Additional status bar notifications (selection, size, statistics etc)

And thankfully, there are a lot of such applications out there, be it commercial or free software. One such application is Wizcode’s Virtual Explorer that was recently upgraded to 1.30 recently…" Read the full story here.

Pocket Alarm updated to v2.18.4

March 7th, 2007 - Wizcode LLC , the leading producer of applications for Windows Mobile devices announced today an update to its fully featured alarm clock application - Pocket Alarm. The update adds two new voice packs (Chinese and Polish languages) and a number of new features including configuration of the drop down hour/minute selection menu (file alarms.xml), different visualisation of contiguous days (Mon…Fri instead of Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri), added the ability to turn off the alarm sound for a period of time (tap and hold on the today plugin stop sound button), added alarm cycling option (set to "in" and "always" in alarm properties dialog), fixed daylight savings alarm issue.
Pocket Alarm is an alarm clock application for Windows Mobile Pocket PCs that allows you to create recurring MP3 alarms with handwritten notes, see upcoming alarms on the Today screen of your device, create, edit, view and delete complex recurring or pattern-based alarms, launch applications on alarm etc.
Registered users are encouraged to download and update their existing installations. Upgrades are free for registered users.
Tariq Bamadhaj from Eten blog Dot Com has written an excellent review of Pocket Alarm: "Waking up in the early morning is not exactly one of my forte and I could use all the help I can get in doing so. Unfortunately, the default alarms that come with Windows Mobile just doesn’t do its job well. Whether you are a WM2003 or a WM6 user, your complaints might sound similar to mine. With Wizcode’s Pocket Alarm, those days of waking up late will soon be a thing of the past…" Read the full review here.
Unregistered users are encouraged to download a free 30-day trial version.
