We have finally acquired the necessary documentation and source code and have performed the necessary research that was required to start real work on code that can handle the clock speed of the MSM7200 core. The information we have is enough for us to say that now we understand how the MSM7200 clock system works and that we will be able to control the CPU speed and voltage of the core of this popular chipset.
Hopefully this will soon lead to a new version of Pocket Hack Master that supports the MSM7200 chipset.
We will start with a small beta group that will test the prototypes to help us better adjust the speed settings and also test the code on as many devices as possible. Once the prototype is stable we will incorporate the clock control into the new version of Pocket Hack Master. The beta group will be announced very soon, please stay tuned!
