Previous versions of PH Master was freezing whole machine during battery charging on iPAQ machines. Is this corrected already? Or it is planned in future work? Great software, but with this bug is really annoying :(

Honestly I am not sure what you are talking about. I have personally used Pocket Hack Master on at least 20 different iPAQs and have never had the issue you are describing. Please be more specific and post the model and build of your device, the version of Pocket Hack Master you are using, the speed setting you are using and whether built-in scaling is disabled or not.

Then I will try to provide more information on whether this is really “a bug” or something else.

Thanks.

Before your pages moved to this new location (or before the pages we rebuilded), there was forum thread about this issue. I had (and also few other users have) this problem. I’m owner of iPAQ 69xx. When recharging battery and PH Master was running (or minimized), whole machine freezed.  But now I’m using this new version for a whole day, recharging the battery and it seems, it’s working smile, so maybe this weird problem was fixed somehow. If the problem appears again, I’ll let you know.

Hi Leeon,
Now that you mentioned it I think I remember of that specific issue. My only explanation is that using Visual Studio 2005 with WM2003 SDK for the WM2003 version has improved stability, something we intended to do when we switched from eMbedded Visual Tools 4 to Visual Studio 2005 for creation of the WM2003 builds.

I am using ETEN Glofiish X500+ (Samsung S32442 CPU, WM6), but I never able to complete the test in Speed Configuration. Everytime the PPC is frozen at the end of the test, and cannot soft reboot. I have unplug the battery to reset. Do Pocket Hack Master support Samsung CPU?

Hello atyc,
Please start Pocket Hack Master, tap Edit->Settings->Advanced and check the check box to disable OEM built-in scaling. Does this improve stability of the application?

Best regards,
Anton
