Journal Bar for Symbian UIQ 3 first alpha announcementGreetings,

The first alpha build of Journal Bar for Symbian UIQ 3 devices can be downloaded here. The related discussion for this release can be found in this thread in our forums.

Below is the list of currently known issues:

  • Radar feature in Weather view is not implemented yet.
  • Infrared feature in Weather view is not implemented yet.
  • Progress Dialog while updating data from the server is not implemented yet.
  • USA city list is currently disabled. The old version with Zip Code is left instead.
  • At the moment there is no way to show HTML content into JBar30 view so the Web browser is opened instead.
  • General Settings dialog need to be redone in UIQ3 dialog style.
  • Weather settings dialogs (Settings and Locations) need to be redone in UIQ3 dialog style.
  • Link view - icons for the special links need to be added.
  • Some special links don’t work.
  • GPRS is always used for data transfer. 

We will be updating the UIQ 2 build shortly as well.
