August 8th, 2008 - Wizcode LLC announced today a new update to Pocket Mechanic Professional - powerful maintenance kit for Windows Mobile devices.

The new update improves compatibility with new Windows Mobile 6 and 6.1 devices, affects Outlook relocation and cleanup modules and lays the foundation of the new File Undelete and Recovery module that will be available in the brand new v3.00 (Pocket Mechanic 2008) of the application that is about to be released in early Q4 2008.

June 4th, 2008 - Wizcode LLC (http://www.wizcode.com) announces another major update of Virtual Explorer. As you can see from the list of changes we worked very hard to improve the previous v1.30 release.

Besides the numerous improvements and bug fixes you will find interesting new functionality such as the new multi-selection logic, the drag selection gesture and the improved search functionality. The new release is very robust and stable and many previously unresolved issues have now been fixed.

We are continuing work on improving Virtual Explorer, our short-term focus will be adding support recycle bin support for registry keys and values, performance improvements and new crypto and compression providers.

Greetings,

This is the first major offical update of Virtual Explorer in the last 12 months. We are continuing our work for improving this product so expect regular minor updates soon.

 Our focus on the next immediate release will be adding recycle bin registry support (almost ready), assign shell zip/enc file extensions, comand line processing for the assigned extensions, OBEX support. More encryption providers, built-in Hex and PDF viewers are to follow. The sky is the limit...

Pocket Mechanic Professional v2.82 is a hot fix update that addresses a number of issues and more specifically:

Version v2.42 of Pocket Mechanic fixes a critical issue introduced in v2.40 and v2.41 that affects Safe Mode for many WM5 devices and also addresses a minor issue with the new Wizcode Application Launcher. This is a critical hotfix, upgrading from v2.40 and v2.41 is absolutely a must!

We do apologize for any inconvenience caused! 

Pocket Mechanic v2.41 adds code to explicitly flush the registry before the application enters Safe Mode.

On some devices changes written to the registry are not immediately saved.
