New version of Wizcode Defragment

Wizcode Defragment Mobile upgradeNovember 27th, 2009 - Wizcode announced an updated version of Wizcode Defragment Mobile, the world's most efficient and powerful Windows Mobile storage card defragmenter and file system optimizer today. The new update adds official Windows Mobile 6.5 support, support for Windows Mobile Smartphone devices, support for several new screen resolutions and also fixes a few known issues.

The changelog for the new v1.06:

  • Added support for 240x400 screen resolutions
  • Added support for 240x440 screen resolutions
  • Added support for 320x320 screen resolutions
  • Fixed an issue when defragmenting the heap of system processes
  • Added support for non-touch screen devices (WM2003, WM5 and WM6)
  • Added WM5/6 style menu for fast access to the actions in the shell
  • Code cleanup and minor bug fixes
Wizcode recommends upgrading to this new release to all its customers. Registered customers receive free upgrades. Non-registered users are encouraged to download and test the 30-day trial version of the application free of charge.

Wizcode Defragment Mobile with single-click RAM defragmentation released

Wizcode releases new version of Defragment MobileJuly 28th, 2009 - Wizcode released a new version of its defragmenter for Windows Mobile devices - Wizcode Defragment Mobile today. The new version 1.04 adds a separate shortcut in the programs menu for instant RAM defragmentation. This feature has been requested by our users. When the new version is installed it will place two shortcuts in the programs folder - the default one and a new one called "Defrag RAM". When started "Defrag RAM" will defragment the heap and will free as much RAM as possible with a single click of the stylus.

Wizcode recommends upgrading to this new release to all its customers. Registered customers receive free upgrades. Non-registered users are encouraged to download and test the 30-day trial version of the application free of charge.


Defragment Mobile and ScanDisk updates

Wizcode Defragment Mobile v1.02May 28th, 2009 - Wizcode LLC announced updated versions of ScanDisk Mobile and Defragment Mobile today.

The updates contain non-critical fixes as well as some minor improvements. Existing users can download and upgrade their registered copies of the products from the download section of our site. Upgrades are free.

It is recommended to upgrade to the new versions because they address an issue where ScanDisk was incorrectly reporting a broken parent-child folder link on FAT12 and FAT16 volumes. The issue affected both products.

Below are the change logs for the new updates:

Defragment Mobile v1.02:

  • Fixed ScanDisk FAT12/FAT16 dot-dot folder validation error when the parent folder is the root folder
  • Fixed auto defragment service and moved the launcher to the \Windows folder
  • Fixed registry changes not flushed immediately error
  • Added FlashBoost flash block size parameter under Settings->FlashBoost
  • Added critical sections around the auto defragmentation code to prevent device lock ups
ScanDisk Mobile v1.02:
  • Fixed ScanDisk FAT12/FAT16 dot-dot folder validation error when the parent folder is the root folder
  • Fixed registry changes not flushed immediately error
